High-speed rail from Meilan Airport Station (beneath the terminal) to central Haikou (city S-trains and island-loop C-trains). Airport bus to the Civil Aviation Hotel at Mingzhu Square takes about 35 min for CNY 15. Taxi to centre roughly 30-40 min.

Northern gateway to Hainan and its duty-free shopping. T2 handles international flights and most Hainan Airlines flights, with routes to Southeast Asia. Prayer facilities are limited.

🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations

Haikou East Railway Station: The best option is the air-conditioned C-train from Meilan Airport station direct to the station in about 9 to 11 minutes for about 8 to 10 yuan, the fastest and cheapest, running roughly hourly, or a taxi for about 48 yuan in roughly 30 minutes.
