About 25 km east of central Changsha. The Maglev Express links the airport to Changsha South Railway Station in ~10 min (20 RMB); Metro Line 6 also reaches the airport. Airport buses and taxis available.

Main airport of Hunan's capital and the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan region. International flights mostly via T2. Restaurants available; ask about prayer room and halal food.

🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations

To Changsha South Railway Station (HSR): take the Maglev Express directly - the fastest at about 19-20 minutes for 20 yuan.
To Changsha Railway Station (city center): take Metro Line 6 from the airport with a transfer, or the maglev to the South Station then Line 2 to Changsha Station, totaling about 50 minutes for around 25 yuan. No free option.
