ثوب خيوط الذهب
I urge you not to cherish the robe of golden thread,
I urge you instead to cherish the days of youth.
When flowers bloom and can be plucked, you must pluck them—
Do not wait until no flowers remain and you pluck bare branches in vain.
金縷衣
勸君莫惜金縷衣，
勸君惜取少年時。
花開堪折直須折，
莫待無花空折枝。
