黃河遠上一作「黃沙直上」白雲間，
一片孤城萬仞山。
羌笛何須怨楊柳，
春風不度玉門關。
خارج الحدود (وانغ تشي هوان)
نهر الهوانغ خه يصعد بعيداً بين الغيوم البيضاء،
قلعة وحيدة وسط جبال شاهقة آلاف الأذرع.
لماذا يندب ناي التشيانغ الصفصاف؟
نسيم الربيع لا يعبر ممر يومن.

The Yellow River rises far among the white clouds,
A lone city amid mountains towering ten thousand feet.
Why should the Qiang flute lament the willows?
