The Green Stream

I enter the Yellow Flower River, and always follow the Qingxi stream.

It winds with the mountains for countless bends, yet the route is less than a hundred li.

Its sound is loud among the scattered stones; its color is still within the deep pines.

Rippling, it floats the water caltrop and weed; clear and bright, it reflects the reeds and rushes.

My heart has long been at ease—the tranquil stream is just like this.

Let me stay upon the flat rock, and here I will fish until the end.
