It Has Already Turned Cool
Outside the green railing, embroidered curtains hang low;
a screen of scarlet depicts the branching of the dragon-tongue palm.
Upon eight-foot-long dragon-beard matting lies a brocade mattress—
the weather has turned cool, but the cold has not yet arrived.
