Terrace of Spirits – Part One
The slanting sunlight falls upon the Terrace of Gathered Spirits,
Red trees and flowers greet the morning dew as they unfold.
Last night the Emperor bestowed anew the sacred registers,
And Taizhen came smiling through the beaded curtain.
