宮中詞

寂寂花時閉院門，

美人相並立瓊軒。

含情欲說宮中事，

鸚鵡前頭不敢言。

في سكون، حين تتفتح الأزهار، تُغلق أبواب الحديقة،

وتقف الجميلتان جنباً إلى جنب على الشرفة الرصاصية.

تلبّسهما عاطفة تفيض بالهموم، وتودّان أن تحدّثا عن أمور القصر،

لكنهما تجرؤان على الكلام أمام الببغاء.

When flowers bloom in silence, the courtyard gate is closed;

Fair ladies stand side by side upon the jade pavilion.

Filled with emotion, they long to speak of palace matters,

But before the parrot dares not utter a word.
