Passing Through Huayin
Towering Mount Hua looms over Xianyang's capital,
Beyond the sky the three peaks rise, hewn not by human hand.
Before the shrine of the Martial Emperor, clouds are just dispersing;
Upon the Palm of the Immortal, the rain has newly cleared.
Rivers and mountains to the north rest against the rugged Qin passes;
Post-road trees to the west stretch level to the Han altars.
I would ask the travelers by the roadside, chasing fame and gain:
Why not here seek the secret of eternal life?
