積雨輞川莊作
積雨空林煙火遲，蒸藜炊黍餉東菑。
漠漠水田飛白鷺，陰陰夏木囀黃鸝。
山中習靜觀朝槿，松下清齋折露葵。
野老與人爭席罷，海鷗何事一作「處」更相疑。
أنشودة الأمطار المتراكمة في مزرعة وانغ تشوان
أمطارٌ متراكمة تتأخّر نارُ الطهي في الغابة الفارغة،
يُبخّر الجرجيرُ ويُطبخُ الدُّخنُ طعاماً للمزارعين شرقاً.
فوق الحقول المائية المنبسطة تحلق البلشون البيضاء،
وفي ظلّ أشجار الصيف الكثيفة تغرد البصافير الصفراء.
في الجبل أعتادُ السكينةَ وأتأمّلُ زهرة الفاوانيا الصباحية،
تحت أشجار الصنوبر أصومُ الصيام الصافي وأقطفُ خضار الندى.
أنا الشيخ القروي قد كُفيتُ منازعة الناس على المقاعد،
فما بالهُنّ — طيور النوارس — يظلمن الشكّ بي؟
After Long Rain at Wangchuan Farmstead
Rain lingers, and in empty woods the smoke burns slow,
I steam goosefoot and millet to feed the eastern fields.
Over boundless watery fields, egrets soar and glide,
Through dark summer woods, orioles sing and hide.
In the mountain I cultivate stillness, watching morning glories bloom,
Beneath the pine, with simple fare, I pluck dew-wet wild greens.
The old rustic has quarreled for his seat and made his peace—
Why should the seagulls still eye me with suspicion?
