Seeing Off Someone Traveling East
A desolate outpost sheds its yellow leaves; with resolute heart I leave the old pass.
The high winds blow at Hanyang's ferry; the first sunlight falls on the peaks of Yingmen Mountain.
How many remain along the river? A lone boat returns from the ends of the earth.
When shall we meet again? With wine in hand to console our parting faces.
