早秋
遙夜泛清瑟，西風生翠蘿。
殘螢棲玉露，早雁拂金河。
高樹曉還密，遠山晴更多。
淮南一葉下，自覺洞庭波。
الخريف المبكر
في الليلة البعيدة، تتردد نغمات القيثارة الصافية، وينفث الريح الغربية على أزهار اللبلاب الخضراء.
اليراعات المتبقية تستقر على الندى الصقيعي، والإوز المبكر يمسح درب التبانة بجناحيه.
الأشجار العالية تظل كثيفة مع الفجر، والجبال البعيدة تزداد وضوحاً تحت الصحو.
تسقط ورقة شجرة واحدة جنوب نهر هواي، فأحسّ بتموج مياه بحيرة دونغتينغ.
Early Autumn
Through the long night the clear zephyrs roam,
The west wind stirs the emerald vines.
Faint fireflies rest on the jade-white dew,
Early wild geese brush the River of Stars.
At dawn the tall trees seem yet more dense,
In clear weather the distant hills show more peaks.
A single leaf falls south of the Huai,
And I feel the waves stir on Dongting Lake.
