Thoughts on New Year's Eve (Cui Tu)
Long and winding, the roads of Sanba; a body in peril, ten thousand li from home.
Chaotic mountains, a night of lingering snow; alone, a stranger in a foreign land in spring.
Gradually growing distant from my flesh and blood; increasingly close to my servant boy.
How can I bear this drifting, this wandering—tomorrow, the year turns anew.
