Silent, silent—when will it end? Each dawn I return to emptiness alone.
I would seek the fragrant grass, but regret parting from an old friend.
Those in power—who among them lends a hand? True connoisseurs are rare in this world.
I shall keep to my solitude, and close again the door of my old garden.
