مع لو تشن من جينغلينغ في نزهة الربيع المبكر

Only the man who wanders in official guise

Feels startled by the turn of seasons new.

Clouds and rosy light emerge from the sea at dawn;

Plum and willow cross the river, ushering in spring.

The balmy air hastens the orioles' song;

The sunlit glow sets the green duckweed turning.

Suddenly I hear an old tune sung—

Thoughts of home would soak my robe with tears.
