A monk of Shu embraces his Lüqi, descending from the western peak of Mount Emei.
He sweeps his hand across the strings for me, and I hear the pines of ten thousand ravines.
My traveler's heart is cleansed by the flowing waters; the lingering resonance enters the frosted bells.
Unaware, the green mountains turn to dusk—how many layers of autumn clouds darken the sky.
