تأمل نهر هان من بعيد
Chu frontier meets the three Xiang streams; Jingmen links the nine tributaries.
The river flows beyond heaven and earth; mountain hues blur between being and nothingness.
Prefectures and towns seem to float upon the forewaters; billows and swells stir the distant sky.
Xiangyang enjoys such fine weather and light—let me stay and drink with the old mountain sage.

楚塞三湘接，荊門九派通。
江流天地外，山色有無中。
郡邑浮前浦，波瀾動遠空。
