Wukeshu Mosque on Binjiang Avenue is the religious centre of the town's Hui quarter, home to over 900 Hui. Damaged in the Cultural Revolution, it was restored by June 1983 with support from the county and town governments. In Arab style, it has 960 square metres of buildings on a 6,120-square-metre site, with an office, ablution room, lecture hall and small prayer hall; its imam leads prayers and religious teaching, weddings, the naming of infants and funeral prayers.
