Runan Mosque on Xinhua Street, Runing Subdistrict, Runan County, Zhumadian, was founded in 1529 (8th year of the Ming Jiajing era) and was listed among Henan's provincial protected sites (8th batch) in December 2021. Facing east, it comprises a gate, a front hall, a rear hall and side buildings in brick and timber, roofed with small grey tiles and decorated with carved-brick flowers, birds and animals. A Ming land-record stele and a Qing donors' stele survive.
