Renmin Town Mosque in Renmin Town, Anda, was founded in 1913 on the initiative of local Hui Yang Fajun, first as an earth-and-timber house with the imam's room and prayer hall on a site of about 5.9 mu. In 1989 the Anda and Renmin governments funded its rebuilding in brick and timber, with over 160 square metres including the main hall, ablution room and office, and it was formally registered in 1996. It serves 93 Gedimu Hui households (about 300 people).
