📍 Heihe · Aihui District 🏛️ 1908

📜 About & history

Heihe Mosque, in the east of the city south of the East Market, covers 10,000 square metres. Founded in 1908 (34th year of the Qing Guangxu era), it was moved and enlarged into its present form in 1918. The all-timber prayer hall uses the Russian log-cabin technique and blends Arab, Russian and Chinese styles. It was listed in the third batch of Heilongjiang provincial protected sites on 29 December 1990, reopened after restoration in 2006, and its century-old prayer hall, closed for 40 years, returned to use in 2007.
