📜 About & history

Dahanzhai Mosque is one of the old mosques of Gu'an County. Its present buildings were raised in 1897 (23rd year of the Qing Guangxu era) with funds gathered by Imam Bai Yuxiu and elder Jin Dianchao, by craftsmen from Tianjin who combined features of Tianjin's Yaowangmiao North Mosque and Beijing's Niujie Mosque. The 540-square-metre main hall has three linked roofs with green glazed tiles; the mosque was registered as a religious venue in 1990.
