An enclosed general market near the seafront in the middle of Shitang Road, Beidaihe, built in the early 1990s with 24,000 m² of floor space. Its necklace and handicraft section is large, making it one of northern China's main distribution centres for necklaces and crafts and a pearl wholesale market; it also sells souvenirs, dried seafood and clothing. It usually opens 7:30 to 19:00 or 20:00 and is served by buses 5, 15, 22, 603 and the Beidaihe sightseeing bus — handy for souvenir and jewellery buyers.
