A huge market cluster at the south end of the Yuanshui Bridge in Dingcheng District, where National Roads 319 and 207 meet; it grew from street stalls and formally opened on 21 December 1992. It centres on the Qiaonan industrial-commercial market with specialist food, trade, appliance and textile markets, covering 3,000 mu with more than 15,000 shops and stalls. It is a key distribution centre for northwestern Hunan with 2022 turnover above CNY 3 billion, and suits buyers of clothing and daily goods.
