A modern herbal-medicine trading centre, also called the Lichuan Coptis Trading Center, in Wangying Town, built to give Lichuan — China's 'home of ecological coptis', producing about 60% of the country's crop — a say in pricing and testing standards. It began trial operation on 23 December 2025 and combines trading, smart warehousing, testing, origin certification, traceability, processing and e-commerce; by July 2026 it had 381 traders and cumulative turnover above RMB 360 million. Suits buyers sourcing coptis and other herbs at origin.
