One of Northeast China's main watermelon wholesale markets, founded in 2002 in Heishui Town, Taonan. Its 100,000 m² site has a trading area and logistics centre, and it ships seedless and local watermelon varieties to more than 20 Chinese cities, with annual volume above 300 million jin (about 150,000 tonnes). Buyers from across China gather here in the summer season, making it suitable for sourcing watermelons at origin.
