South-west China's oldest and busiest market for premium green tea, founded in 1998 in the core Emeishan tea-growing area. It draws traders from Anhui, Zhejiang and Fujian, and in the spring tea season trades up to 100,000 kg a day, about 60% of Sichuan's early spring tea market. After an upgrade around 2015 it has over 100 tea traders and suits buyers of green tea at source.
