The Ziquejie Terraces in Shuiche Town, Xinhua County, are a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System and a World Heritage Irrigation Structure. More than 80,000 mu of terraces surround the area, with over 20,000 mu in the core, all watered naturally by mountain springs. It is also a national 4A attraction and national scenic area, and received its FAO heritage plaque in 2018.
