Guizhou Yushe National Forest Park lies in the south of Shuicheng District, 30 kilometres from central Liupanshui, and covers 924.47 hectares. It has a mid-subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of about 12°C, subtropical evergreen broadleaf and coniferous forest, and 90.5% forest cover. It was approved as a national forest park in December 2002 and is rated 4A.
