Yishan Mountain, also called Zouyi or Zoushan, lies 10 kilometres south-east of Zoucheng. The range runs nearly 30 kilometres with a main peak of 582.8 metres in granite terrain; it was approved as a national geopark in 2018 and is a national 4A attraction. Called the "wonder south of Mount Tai", it is one of China's nine famous historical mountains. Confucius, Mencius, the First Emperor of Qin and Li Bai climbed it, leaving more than 300 cliff inscriptions and steles, including the Yishan Stele of Li Si.
