ℹ️ About
Yishan Mountain stands at the eastern end of the Tai-Lu-Yi uplands where Linqu, Yishui and Yiyuan meet. Its main peak, Yuhuang Peak, reaches 1,031 metres; steep and imposing, it is known as the "Eastern Mount Tai" and "the first of the Five Guardian Mountains". The Baizhangya Waterfall east of the peak drops 65 metres. The state of Qi built a Great Wall along the mountain in the early Warring States period, and its remains survive. Densely forested, it has a provincial nature reserve and has been developed as a tourist area, national forest park and Shandong provincial scenic area.
