The Yingxi Peak Forest Scenic Area covers the karst country of Jiulong, Huanghua and Yanbei towns, 60 kilometres south-west of Yingde. With more than a thousand limestone peaks it is nicknamed "Little Guilin of western Yingde" and is one of the longest and densest peak forests in Guangdong, with sights such as the Dongtian Xianjing cave and underground-river rafting at Laohugu.
