The Emperor Yan's Mausoleum Scenic Area in Yanling County has a planned area of 111.86 square kilometres with a 5-square-kilometre core. It is made up of the Shennong Hall ceremonial area, the mausoleum hall area, the Shennong Garden memorial area, the Huangshan sightseeing area and the Mishui riverside. It opened to visitors in 1989 and was rated a national 5A tourist attraction on 7 January 2020.
