The Huanjiang Wuxie Scenic Area, 23 kilometres northwest of central Zhuji, covers 50 square kilometres and is a national key scenic area, national 4A attraction and national forest park. Its centrepiece is a five-tier waterfall with a total drop of 79.9 metres; forest covers more than 93% of the area, which also includes Wuxie Lake and the Xiyuan gorge.
