Wumeng Grassland, in Wumeng Town and Pingdi Yi Township of Panzhou, covers 178 square kilometres at an average altitude of 2,500 metres, making it the highest and largest alpine meadow in Guizhou, with about 6,700 hectares of pasture and dwarf rhododendrons. The Yi Torch Festival is held here on the 24th day of the sixth lunar month. It was rated a national 4A attraction in 2017.
