The Shuanghe Cave Scenic Area is in Guihua and Tonggu villages, Gongping office, Wenquan Town, in the north of Suiyang County, 50 km from the county town and 92 km from Zunyi, next to the Kuankuoshui National Nature Reserve. It was listed among Guizhou's second batch of provincial scenic areas in 1990. As of October 2024, the Shuanghe cave system had 115 connected entrances and a surveyed length of 437.1 km, the third longest cave in the world and the longest in Asia. Water caves and dry caves interconnect, and visitors can explore 13 km of gypsum-flower passages or raft 3 km along an underground river. Since 1987, cavers from China, France, Japan and other countries have carried out 23 expeditions here.
