ℹ️ About
The Shouguang Vegetable Museum, in the Shouguang Vegetable High-Tech Demonstration Park, is the first museum in China devoted to vegetable culture. Begun in December 2008 and opened in April 2010, it has a 2,800-square-metre main hall and 3,010 items or sets in its collection, including pottery, bronzes and old books. A 120-metre tunnel, the "Corridor of Time", leads through six sections tracing the history of vegetables from ancient farm tools to modern greenhouse technology, with a focus on Shouguang's 7,000 years of vegetable growing and its winter-warm greenhouses. It was named a national second-grade museum in August 2024.
