The Shishi Golden Coast Resort lies on the seafront of Yongning Town, Shishi, covering 6,000 mu with a 12-kilometre coastline facing Taiwan across the strait. Backed by Baogai Mountain to the northwest and facing the Taiwan Strait to the southeast, it includes Gongyu Bay, a white-sand beach and other natural scenery, and is divided into sea, shoreline and land zones with bathing beaches and other facilities. A road 10 kilometres long and 38 metres wide links it to the city. It is a key part of Shishi's "Ten-Li Golden Coast" bay area.
