Shimantan National Forest Park on Longquan Road, Wugang, was established in 1998 and covers 190 square kilometres with over 90% forest cover. A national 4A attraction and one of the first national water-conservancy scenic areas, it centres on the Shimantan Reservoir and includes Longquan Lake, Erlang Mountain and Dengtaijia.
