The Shennongjia Ecological Tourist Area in Muyu Town covers 45.4 square kilometres and consists of the Shennong Peak scenic area, inside the Shennongjia National Nature Reserve, and the Guanmenshan scenic area, which focuses on nature and science education. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction on 9 January 2012.
