The Shanyekou Scenic Area in Shanyekou Village, Dawuli Township, Qian'an, was the city's first national 4A attraction. It covers 14 square kilometres with 69% forest cover and features gorges and streams, rocky woodland and a hilltop lake, as well as geological relics such as 2.8-billion-year-old Archaean gneiss.
