The Shali River Scenic Area in Luohe covers 86 square kilometres along the Sha and Li rivers. It was rated a national 4A attraction in 2010 and is also a national water scenic area and a national sports park. Its core is eight themed parks, including "Morning Glow at West Bay" and "Fragrant Breeze and Elegant Odes", with vegetation cover of over 98%. Built in phases since 2007, it has 36 km of riverside gardens and 95 km of waterfront paths, plus an RV camp, a light show and night boat trips. It is open all day, year-round.
