The Qingtianhe Scenic Area lies 37 km northwest of Bo'ai county town and covers 106 square kilometres in seven areas: Tianjingguan, Daquan Lake, Sangu Spring, Guanyin Gorge, Fo'er Gorge, Jinjialing and Yueshan Temple, which was founded in 1158. It is part of the Yuntai Mountain–Shennong Mountain–Qingtianhe national 5A scenic area; the Qingtianhe part was added to the 5A list in 2011.
