Peacock Valley lies at Fangmaqiao, Nantianmen, in Mangshi, Dehong, and covers 15,003 mu, with construction planned in five phases. The first phase has two themes, peacocks and virgin-forest ecotourism: it highlights Mangshi as the "home of peacocks", and in 2018 it registered two world records, the world's largest peacock breeding base and the largest flower-and-feather peacock figure. Forest cover reaches 98.6%. It has five sections: the West Yunnan War of Resistance Museum, a wishing tree, bougainvillea flower fields, a peacock garden and an ecological tea garden.
