The Pamir Tourism Area in Tashkurgan County covers 3.1 square kilometres in five parts: the Stone City scenic area, the Golden Grassland (Jincaotan), a Tajik folk village, a service centre and a shopping centre. The Stone City ruins are more than 2,000 years old. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction on 7 January 2020.
