ℹ️ About

The Nanzhi Street Historic District in Xiping Subdistrict, Songyang County, is bounded by Yaojin, Xinhua, Changsong and Taipingfang roads and measures about 550 metres east to west and 480 metres north to south. It is the largest district of old Songyang, with the best-preserved street network and the richest mix of shops and houses. Dating back to the Tang dynasty and flourishing in the Ming and Qing, it is a living Ming-Qing street where traditional trades survive, with blacksmiths, bamboo weavers and palm-fibre workshops alongside old buildings such as the Jiangxi Guild Hall. It is open all day free of charge.
