ℹ️ About
Luoji Mountain is a north-south range in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, named for its resemblance to the spiral hair bun of a young woman of old. Its main peak, Yeehaha, rises to 4,354.2 metres, and it spans Xichang, Puge and Dechang. It preserves Quaternary glacial features such as cirques and glacial grooves and has more than 50 glacial lakes. Its vegetation includes Yunnan pine, primeval fir forest, more than 30 kinds of wild rhododendron and alpine meadows, which bloom into a sea of flowers every May. It became a national scenic area in 2002, with sights such as a hot-spring waterfall and the Five-Coloured Lakes.
