ℹ️ About
The Longwan Beach Scenic Area lies on Bohai Bay in Huludao, spanning Xingcheng and Longgang District, with a total area of 10.9 square kilometres and more than 3,000 metres of coastline. It consists of a bathing beach, an amusement area, shopping and leisure facilities and a food plaza, and is known for fine sand, a gentle slope and clear water; rows of colourful parasols and tall searchlight poles light it up at night as "China's first never-dark beach". It is linked to the city by Haibin South Road and served by many bus lines. It regained national 4A status after re-assessment in 2021, and 96.2% of its bathing water tests are rated good.
