ℹ️ About
Longshou Mountain, 1 kilometre east of the city in Yinzhou District, Tieling, is named for its resemblance to a dragon raising its head and is a suburban scenic area open free of charge around the clock. Its highest point, Zhuandeng Hill, is 156 metres high; it backs onto the Chai River to the east and embraces the city to the west, with scenery changing through the seasons and more than 30 Ming and Qing historic sites, including the Kuixing Tower. The Kangxi Emperor stopped here on his eastern tour and wrote poems, and there are also the Gao E poem-stele pavilion and the Eight Views Pavilion.
