ℹ️ About
The Longchang Stone Memorial Arches stand at the south and north passes of Jin'e Subdistrict, Longchang, Neijiang, and form a group of Qing-dynasty carved stone arches. Seventeen arches and four steles survive; 13 of the arches stand in a single row, facing south, along a roughly 600-metre stretch of the old Sichuan post road that runs through the town. They include arches honouring good government, filial piety, public merit and longevity, mostly four-pillar, three-gate structures with triple eaves imitating timber, carved with figures, flowers, birds and inscriptions. They are a national key cultural relic site.
